The bride and groom were government agents, and the brides’ family was involved in campaigning–so no pictures were allowed from the actual wedding–but I did get a shot with the portrait of Princess Grace from the room–and a couple of the pristine exterior. Isn’t she gorgeous?? I’ve always been a big Grace Kelly fan.
Brides’ Night Out, Patrick Henry Ballroom
Fashion Show!
Played for models coming down this runway for Brides’ Night Out at The Patrick Henry! The coolest thing about this show is that some of the brides’ and bridesmaid dresses were designed by a local designer, Terissa Vaughn. I’ve actually met her!
They are so creative and classy!
She can make anything to taste and to fit perfectly! Think NY boutique right here in Roanoke!
Homestead Wedding
Totally romantic fireside wedding at The Homestead, complete with snow falling in the background! Such a cozy, lovely wedding. Congratulations, Don and Katie!!
Art by Night, Downtown Roanoke
I was hosted by the most amazing artist. His work is very Van Gough-ish. He has several cityscapes of Roanoke by night, which are gorgeous.
Here is a link to his website:

St. Andrews Wedding
This historic church in down town Roanoke is just as lovely inside as it is on the outside.
Here is an interesting account of its history: http://www.standrewsroanoke.org/history.php

Wedding March 23, 2013, Pocahontas Room
Hotel Roanoke is so beautiful!! It is a perfect wedding location.
It is amazing we have such a gem in our own backyard–but then, the Star City never ceases to amaze me with its commodities!
